This is Maria FREIJEIRO from Gulliver store in Nishinomiya, Hyogo prefecture.

Today I would like to write about the former company's name, Gulliver International (From July 15, 2016, now IDOM Idom Co., Ltd.). Why "Gulliver"?

The origin of the name "Gulliver" is a novel that everyone is familiar with. Actually, it was taken from "Gulliver Travelogue". October is the founding month of Gulliver.

Gulliver looked like a giant but actually he was in a small country.

That is why he just looked big. Content that says that when you return to your hometown,

you are no different from a normal-sized person.

Isn't it interesting? There are many excellent companies in the world. Even if Gulliver grows bigger and bigger we should not forget to be humble and aim for the top!

It was named by the founder and current chairman, Hatori Kaneichi. Thanks to you in the car purchasing industry, we have become a leading company.

IDOM is our company's name now

and it means challenging in Japanese.
