When are the financial results announced?

Our fiscal year closes at the end of February, and our financial results are announced on the following schedule.
First quarter (March-May): Early July
Second quarter (March-August): Early October
Third quarter (March-November): Early January

Questions regarding dividends

What is your policy on dividends?
A
The Company positions returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority. Our basic policy is to emphasize the dividend payout ratio and return profits appropriately in accordance with our business results.
Specifically, we aim to achieve a dividend payout ratio of around 30% on our “net profit attributable to parent company shareholders” of previous fiscal year.

What is the record date for dividend payments?
A
The record date for payment of the year-end dividend is the last day of February, and the record date for the interim dividend is August 31.

Is there a time limit for receiving dividends?
A
Under Article 48 of the Company Articles of Incorporation the Company is unable to pay dividends after three years has elapsed since the starting day of payments.
Please be sure to receive your dividends before then.

A

Do you plan to pay a quarterly dividend?

Currently there are no plans to pay a quarterly dividend.

With the enactment of Japan Electronic Share Certificate System, all applications for all procedures related to shares (change of address, purchases or requests to purchase additional shares to make an odd-lot up to a full unit) can be made to as follows.
1.For shareholders who have an account with a securities company, please apply to your transacting securities company.
2.For shareholders listed on a special account, please apply to Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank.

What is the reason for changing the Company name from “Gulliver International” to “IDOM”?
A
Leveraging our strengths fostered in the used car purchasing business under the brand of “Gulliver” stores, we have expanded our automobile distribution business by branching out into multiple-brand, with a focus on used-car retailing, as well as new car dealerships and overseas operations.
As we are transforming into an integrated company with diversified brands and businesses, and with this reason we have changed our trade name to IDOM.

What is the origin of the Company name “IDOM”?
A
Since its founding in 1994, Gulliver has endeavored to expand business with a major goal of “revolutionizing the distribution of automobiles.”
Gulliver views this goal as an enduring and common code of conduct for its management and employees to pursue in embodying the important spirit of rising to challenges and driving growth in the future.
The Company decided to change its name to IDOM, a homonym of idomu or rise to the challenge in Japanese, to encapsulate this spirit.

When was the Company listed and on which securities exchanges?
A
The Company commenced over-the-counter trading of its stock on December 11, 1998, and listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on December 18, 2000. The Company was listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on August 1, 2003.
The company’s market segment was changed to the Prime Market of Tokyo Stock Exchange on April 4, 2022.
