April Gulliver’s first store established as the automobile purchase division of Tokyo My Car Sales Co., Ltd.
September Gulliver’s first franchise opened.
October Gulliver International Corporation established in Koriyama City, Fukushima.



September First Gulliver Tokyo store established at Kannana Ichinoe.



February Tokyo Head Office established in Urayasu City, Chiba,and the franchising headquarters function relocated. 1996
April Company name changed to Gulliver International Co., Ltd.
September Actress Yuri Mitsui signed on as celebrity spokeswoman.



September Actor Naoto Takenaka signed on as celebrity spokesman.



February Full-scale Dolphinet System operations start. 1998
December Gulliver’s stock registered with the Japan Securities Dealers Association.



September Number of Gulliver stores reached 500.



March Achieved goal of opening stores throughout Japan by opening store in Ginowan City, Okinawa.

December Company received the Japan Investor Relations Association’s Award for Advancement of Excellence in IR.



March 100,000th car sold via Dolphinet. 2003
June Renewed brand with the slogan ‘Gulliver – offering many types of vehicle-related services’.
June Professional baseball player Hideki Matsui signed on as celebrity spokesman.
August Gulliver’s stock listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.



March Launched the social improvement program to inspire a ‘Go for it’ attitude among young people. 2004
November Established Gulliver USA, Inc., Gulliver’s first overseas subsidiary.



November Received patent for automated assessment system (patent no. 3738160). 2005



February Marunouchi headquarters moved to Tokyo building. 2006
October Company receives “Porter Prize 2006″.



April Acted as primary sponsor of the Pro baseball All-Star game.
December Started to contribute a part of the profit of used car purchase and sales as corporate social responsibility activities.



January Attained ISO/IEC 27001:2005 for setting assessment appointment of call center. 2008
May Received Japan 300 High-Service Award (Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth).



February 300,000th car sold via Dolphinet.
